Grand Prix-inspired slip-on exhaust systems that hide in the ABS plastic undertail. Ceramic-coated pipe snakes into the tail section and connects to the completely hidden canister.
Exhaust tip protrudes from undertail between the LED turn signals. Ceramic-coated pipes and canister keep the exhaust moving, which translates to more horsepower, at least 4hp, and a running temp that's 20% lower than stainless steel systems.
Improve aerodynamics by lowering drag. Kit includes undertail, mid-pipe, canister, heat shielding, battery box and all mounting hardware.
Pros: Wicked package, very clean look. No cutting on this one, not a lot of major work either for a substantial cosmetic upgrade... The price is right here too, averaging $80 less than elsewhere, even on the web!!!
Cons: Didn't come with extra heat-shielding as spec'ed by the manufacturer although they were quick to correct this with some phone-tag. Some of the instructions were vauge but still fairly easy to follow after more phone-tag. As the size of the canister is literally a fifth the size of the stock one, she be LOUD now...! (Not entirely bad, just don't want a ticket).
A great and simple project to begin the conversion to a race bike, next a Power Commander and a few weight savers and she'll be track worthy. Great for weekend warriors like myself.
