Icon ARC Textile Pant

Pros: Pants are stylish and go well with my Kawasaki ZX-14. Knee armor stays put and doesn't shift during riding.

Cons: I bought these pants as part of a new summer riding suit purchase that I was hoping would keep me cooler commuting in the summer. I have to wear slacks underneath these pants for work, however these pants have significantly less airflow than my previous pair of cordura pants and I'm sweating by the time I get to work. As mentioned elsewhere the side leg zips occasionally open while riding.

Pros: Never got to try them out and they were sold out of the next size down. They seem to be very well made, strong, and durable.

Cons: Size

Sizing Info: Fits 1 size larger

Additional Sizing Notes: I wear a solid 32 waist, ordered a 32 to fit over pants, and when they showed up tried them on over a pair of thick Carhartts and they were still too big. Order a size down!

Pros: The fit is roomy without feeling like you're wearing a garbage bag, the adjustable armor is a plus I didn't expect. The white is brilliant white, very reflective, they definitely get noticed.

Cons: Although I love the white, it's a pure white, whereas most other whites are more of an ivory. Consequently, it does not match my Icon Accelerant leather jacket. Not a big deal, but something for the fashion-concious to be aware of.

Additional Sizing Notes: I typically wear a 32 or 34 waist depending on the brand. These 32 overpants fit me perfectly. Even with 34 inch pants under them, they didn't bunch up or wrinkle the pants, yet felt very snug and secure.

Pros: These pants are pretty easy on and off over jeans, and they do a great job of blocking the wind. Pockets are useful and they look good. I lowsided at 60 and walked away with only a strawberry on my knee.

Cons: No added insulation, so below 40 degrees you may need something more. They protected me in a crash but the pants were wasted after that. The legs are a bit long so I ended up walking on the pantlegs. The zippers on the legs started to come unsewn as well so they really only last for 1 season unless you are really tall.

Comments: I would buy these pants again, just wish they were a bit shorter. Be sure to take time to adjust the knee armor to your legs. My crash would have been much better if I had properly placed the knee... (Read the rest of this review)

Pros: good knee protection, sturdy construction, very cool looking (like most ICON products)

Cons: OMG they are SO HOT, poor airflow (i.e. none), i wear only boxers underneath them and I still sweat like a pig (no i am not fat....5'7" 158lbs) Plus the inner lining is not removable *had to cut mine out, just so i wouldn't sweat to death)

Sizing Info: Fits 2 sizes larger

Additional Sizing Notes: I am a 34in waist and these fit like 36 or 38 very baggy and long, i would suggest straps to keep the tight so they don't drag

Comments: Probably a good winter pant choice alternative to leather, but for summer riding I would suggest something that breaths better.
