Read the Accelerant jacket product story and insert the word 'perforation' in front of the word 'leather'. This is exactly how we came up with the idea for the Accelerant Perf jacket. You see, thousands of little holes are painstakingly stamped into the leather chassis by hand, This, while being an incredibly time consuming process, gives the Accelerant Perf jacket unbelievable ventilation - perfect for summer riding. Its as if a colony of thousands of little holes are working in unison to blow cooling air on your body. Quite remarkable when you think about it.
Features
1.2-1.4mm premium perforated cowhide.
Removable CE field armor impact protector elbow.
Removable CE field armor impact protector shoulder.
Removable dual-density foam back pad.
External back & shoulder protection with alloy inserts.
Strategically placed stretch ballistic nylon for comfort.
Pros: The overall look of the jacket from the front looks nice. Aggressive styling. Elbow and shoulder armor feels sturdy and well placed.
Cons: The deal breaker for me on this jacket was the external spine protector. It is poorly designed and results in the jacket resting awkwardly on the shoulders between the shoulder blades.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: I'm 6ft and about 185lbs with long arms. Ordered the Large and the length of the sleeves was good.

Perfect all year
By Emperor from Washington, DC
Pros: Warm in cold air as low as 45 degrees with liner. Cool in warm air as high as 90 degrees without liner. Most importantly - I put my bike down around 40mph and slid several feet on concrete/gravel into a jersey wall. The jacket took all the punishment and left me without a mark. Nuff said!
Cons: That protection has one draw back - it's a little on the heavy side.
Sizing Info: Fits 1 size smaller
Additional Sizing Notes: snug fit. i ride a muscle cruiser so i wanted a little more room. i usual wear an XL, but I had to exchange it for a 2XL. i'm 6'3" 235lbs
Comments: This jacket has proven to be worth every penny. It saved my skin and it's comfortable to ride

Nice Jacket
By Jake from Milwaukee, USA
Pros: Nice high quality jacket. Good for a wide range of tempatures. 50 degrees with the liner in is no problem. Feels very safe. Pads say where they need to be.
Cons: Zippers could scrach the tank, if your not careful. Hard to clean, due the all the tiny holes.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: The size chart is accurate.
Comments: This is one of the absolute best jackets I have seen. Very versital, yet safe. Knee draggers had the best price too!

By Russ H. from Emeryville, CA
Pros: The jacket fits like a glove. Once the liner is out the perferorations allow lots of airflow similar to the perforated gloves by Icon. I am very pleased with the jacket and will wear this exclusively in the summer months. It offers a nominal amount of protection, which I am comforatable with for everyday riding. Overall I give this jacket 4.5 out 5 stars when comparing to a custom made jacket.
Cons: The collar fits a bit different then my other jackets. It kind of digs on the side of my neck, but I think with time it'll break in a bit more and not be much more than an after thought. The zippers are not covered and can easily scratch the paint on your bike if your not careful. The metal inserts on the sides and back are cool, but I would prefer to have the option to have them all black instead of silver (just my preforance).
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
