Much more than just a reinforced jean, the Anthem pant could be more aptly described as an engineered denim riding pant. Built on the Icon loose fit pattern, these pants posses a multitude of riding specific features. Internal reinforcement in the knee & hip area help combat those nasty apshalt raspberries. Additionally, the segmented knees articulate for maximum freedom of movement. Finally, the rear pockets are cut oversized to securely hold your wallet while providing a confidence-inspiring double layer of denim in the seat. Anthem pants - the best thing for your legs this side of leather.
- Abrasion resistant 14oz denim
- Aramid reinforced hip and knee areas
- Articulated knees for greater mobility
- Large capacity pockets for storage
- Comfortable loose fit

Great upgrade to daily jeans |
By Anonymous
Pros: These are great jeans. You can feel the protection in the weight alone. They are heavier then your normal jeans, and have some reinforcement where you need it.
Cons: None at this time
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: These fit true to size, waist is slightly snug.
I love these jeans. I put them on every day I ride now. I have some Arc Mesh overpants, but they are bulky and hot. I tend to stick to these only.
You can't go wrong with their relaxed fit jeans, assuming that others are based on the same design as these.
My only Icon product so far. I don't care for brands, but I do like these jeans.

Look and feel great, protection could be better |
By Bryanmsi from California
Pros: These jeans look great. The sewn-on patches give the pants a nice touch, and you can walk around all day without drawing stares. Pockets are extremely deep so no fear of loosing items while you ride. Denim is pretty good, and key seams are triple or quadruple stitched. Back pockets are lined, and pockets provide another layer of denim. Baggy knees are comfortable in riding position and body armor fits well under these pants. Stretchy waistband makes them even more comfortable.
Cons: Limited use of kevlar/aramid. Hip area and butt are covered only with denim, and these are areas which usually see abrasion in a get-off. Hips in particular should have more aramid. High priced given the somewhat limited use of aramid.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: Fits comfortably, if a slight bit loose. Crotch is shorter than most jeans.
Comments: These jeans look and feel great. Perfect for those times when you can't or won't pull on the full leathers but you want more protection than plain jeans can provide. They are built in a way that... (Read the rest of this review)

    great fit, dubious protection |
By D Martin from Portland, OR
Pros: I'm pretty tall, with a 34" inseam. The size 36 waist fit perfectly over riding boots.
Cons: Where is all the abrasion resistance? 14 oz denim reinforced at the waist and knees only? Not sure its worth the $.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: The stretch panel knees make tucked up riding very comfortable
Comments: The pants could also use a couple more pockets, like one for a cell and another for a knife. The deep rear pockets are nice.
