So you wanna destroy stuff? You wanna dispense more depleted uranium than a Nevada hazmat waste depot? Then the Warthog is your weapon of choice. An Angelic cry sent to allocate 30mm judgement on the unworthy.
Pros: This Warthog was very well made, had absolutely outstanding graphics and an inner liner second-to-none. Their special finish on this particular appeared durable. The neck roll looked as if it would be quite good in subduing wind noise, as it encompassed the neck snugly.
Cons: The sizing on this Warthog presented as if it was one size too small. It is the first helmet that I did not fit me using my "standard" XL sized lid. This was perplexing, as I was going to use the Warthog to replace my ICON Mainframe helmet, which fit fine in the XL size.
Sizing Info: Fits 1 size smaller
Additional Sizing Notes: This helmet was quite snug using the size that I have always used in helmets. Perhaps using a size one-step larger would be appropriate.
In the end, I returned the Warthog to KneeDraggers, and purchased a Shoei RF1000. The reason for this was that I was concerned about the fit of the Warthog XXL and did not want to have to possible exchange it again for another helmet. As I have had numerous Shoei helmets in the past, I knew that I could count on them to deliver a proper sized helmet. I was not disappointed.
KneeDraggers' communication during the ordering process was absolutely outstanding. i was constantly updated on the status of my order right up to the day it was delivered to my home. Exchanging the helmet was done quickly and without incurring additional restocking fees (I'm a returning customer.). I would HIGHLY recommend doing business with this company.
