Features:
Almost everyone rides without any type of leg protection... until now. The Field Armor Leg guards are the missing link in the street riders bag of tricks. Form fitting construction with a chassis of impact absorbing foam and molded plastic thats sleek enough to wear under most denim jeans. Designed to take the hit, so your legs dont have to.
Pros: Offers great protection, joints work perfect with leg movement equaling great comfort and no irritation. Fits well under jeans (my icon ones anyway) and are very breathable. I ussually wear them when I am acting like an idiot and riding across town with shorts on. I like the additional protection when I'm making stupid decisions but sometimes my destination and planned activity involves to much running around for me to have my ICON jeans on. These are a great substitute.
Cons: Because they are adjustable for all sizes I understand... but... I hate velcro! straps used are all velcro! I also have the vest armor that I wear regularly and the velcro on that has begun to wear out on me so I assume it is only a matter of time befor these velcro straps do too.

Pros: Well-designed and constructed, flex and move well while riding, feel like they would do pretty well in a wreck, but thankfully I haven't had to test them!
Cons: On me the kneecap pieces feel weird/slightly uncomfortable when walking around and doing things off of your bike, and the fact that one typically puts these on under your pants means you probably will not wear them for a quick ride to the gas station or a friend's house.
Comments: I recommend these to anyone who goes on longer trips or would be doing "spirited riding" (i.e. stunting/racing) where any additional protection is preferred.

Field Armor leg.
By Matthew from Birmingham, AL on 04/23/2008
Pros: Well designed skid plates and padding. I actually went outside and kicked a tree a few times with them on. Good protection.
Cons: They fit poorly. The lower section is fine, but the part with the knee pad moves around and is a PIA to deal with. They need a liner under them because the netting on the back of the knee pad cuts into my knee cap. Haven't worn them much due to discomfort, but will deal with it when I go out to do hard riding or while wearing shorts.

Pros: They fit very well and the articulation is great. I wear them all day in school and it doesnt bother me. A+ product
Cons: YOu may have to have large calf to get this to fit well. but if you have racing boots, those should hold it up
