Icon Mainframe Full Face Helmet - Death From Above

The Mainframe helmet from Icon was designed with the rider's safety, fit and function in mind.
The shell is constructed of a Fiberglass/Dyneema blend and is lined with a dual density styrene liner for incredible strength without unnecessary weight.
Features include a Venturi super-vent system for the ultimate in airflow.
A three forehead switch acts as an additional ram-air vent to significantly increase the overall cooling of the helmet.
Internal on/off chin exhaust switch offers control of escaping air.
Pros: Great Looking Helmet, Comfertable to wear, Nice addition of the button on the chin strap to stop the excess fromm whipping you in the neck.
Cons: The only bad part is that there seems to be allot more wind noise than with the other ICONs that I have owned... Loud whisling wind noise.

Amazing Graphics -- Great Price!

Pros: Super Amime-inspired graphics makes the helmet look like a custom paint job. As a multiple bike owner, this helmet colour coordinates and clashes with all of them. All full face helmets should come with a clear AND a tinted visor like the DFA.
Cons: Comic characters in graphics might be confused with Power-Puff Girls (lame) or Pucca (not so lame).

Additional Sizing Notes: A bit sung in the jowl area. but better snug than loose!

Pros: Awesome price and look. For about 1/4 the price you get a great fitting, great looking helmet that looks like buddies $1000 Suomy or Arai.
Cons: Unlike buddies helmet yours will get a little heavy on those long rides!
Comments: I got my Suomy Spec 1R for the race or three hour ride days, but for every day use the ICON is 100% a great helmet. Again if you not worried about a little extra weight this is the helmet for you... (Read the rest of this review)

Sweet Helmet

Pros: This is a awsome looking helmet. It also fits like a glove. Holds the outside noise down. I have had helmet that you need ear plugs with. NOT the case with this icon helmet. This is the 4th icon helmet I own.
Cons: The only con I can think of is that the helmet is a little heaver than other Brands.
