The Icon Mainframe helmet was designed with fit, function, and the rider's safety in mind. The Mainframe helmet features a venturi super-vent system for the ultimate in airflow. Athree position forehead switch acts as an additional ram-air vent to significantly increase the overall cooling of the helmet. The shell is constructed of a Dyneema/fiberglass composite and is lined with a dual-density styrene liner for incredible strength without undue weight. Also incorporated into the design are removable/washable cheek pads, a removable anti-fog breath deflector, and the industry's easier no-tool quick change shield.
Pros: Great ventilation, looks nice, weight isn't bad.

Additional Sizing Notes: It does fit true to size if you don't have a round face or larger cheek bones. If you do, then perhaps 1 size larger would be better. The cheek pads are a bit on the snug side for me, so I'll look into getting smaller replacements from ICON. It will probably loosen a bit when it breaks in as well.
This is a great upgrade from the last ICON helmet I had from 2003. Feels like it's a great quality helmet. I'm totally satisfied with it.
