At icon we have a real pasionfor gloves. Short ones, long ones, black ones, strong ones, It doesn't matter,as long as they fit and function at the highest levels of excellence. Hence our love for the Merc glove. Genuine Carbon Fiber knuckle protection, articulated fingers, and a totally dialed Icon fit. Give them a try.. your fingers will thank you.
Pros: After breaking in gloves were very comfortable and performed well in cold weather.
Cons: I went down with these gloves, although I came out with my hands unscathed the leather on both palms where the thumb meets broke open exposing the skin leaving me to believe that If I had dragged instead of tumbling I would have lost some or a lot of skin there. However I'm not a technician and I don't know if any other gloves of equal value would have done better,
On a day to day basis I think these gloves are great but I won't buy again due to them ripping open after the 40 mph front flip over the handle bars palms down first fall.

Pros: I love the fact that there are two straps on these gloves to keep them secure. Also the protection is great, from the knuckles to the armour that covers your wrist. These gloves are nice and warm and keep my fingers pretty dry when I'm riding in the rain.
