Icon Motorhead Leather Jacket

Pros: The jacket is great. The leather and the stitching seems excellent. It was pretty warm when I had the liner inside, but I took it out pretty much right away because the weather was starting to get warm. The jacket seems to breathe really well. The vents keep you nice and cool. The protection in the elbows and shoulders is great, and the back is better than nothing, but it's the only thing I don't like about the jacket. The vents can be used as pockets if you don't need the vents, but you can't really fit anything huge in there. There is a fairly large pocket on the inside of the jacket for something like a wallet, or cellphone or whatever else you want to put inside. Overall, I'm very pleased with this jacket, and the service KneeDraggers provide!

Cons: The back pad is too thin and flimsy feeling, so I'd recommend replacing it with something better.

Additional Sizing Notes: The sleeves are a bit longer than most jackets. I'm 5'8" or 5'9", and 160 lbs, and Medium size fits me good...

Pros: this jacket makes you feel exceptionally well protected...damn near bulletproof

Cons: Icon Merc gloves (long) do not fit over sleeves, and are quite a chore to secure under sleeve

Additional Sizing Notes: this jacket feels like it was taylor fit...the most comfortable leather jacket i've ever worn

Comments: very satisfied with this jacket, and would recommend it to any fellow streetbike rider (i'm not sure it would be as comfortable in the riding position a cruiser offers)

Pros: Best leather jacket I've ever owned. I got this after I loved the way my friends ICON jacket felt/fit. Very breathable for hot days. Keep in mind it is leather so of course if you aren't moving and you have a hot engine between your legs you may start sweating when it is hot out... big suprise. But the jacket is very heavy duty and takes very little time to break in (a little stiff at first). I wouldn't buy a riding jacket from any other company. Had several several friends buy cheap Joe Rocket jackets and they didn't feel as good nor vent as well. My friend had the zipper break on the Joe Rocket so he switched to ICON with the rest of us.

Cons: Only gripe is the interior lining connectors for the arm/wrist area. At the end of the arm on the interior lining there is a cotton wrist "band", basically a cotton end to the sleeve that expands to let your hand through and then retracts to fit snug around your wrist to keep air from shooting up your arm. This is all good except they only hold the removeable inner liner sleeves in place by 1 plastic button at the end of each sleeve, on several occasions when removing the jacket (and my arm out of the sleeve) I have unsnapped the inner linning and pulled the inner lining sleeve completely out of the arm (leather sleeve). This is really annoying since I then have to fish the sleeve back down the "arm" and resnap the button. This is my only real gripe and I generally don't wear the inner lining.

Additional Sizing Notes: I am a shorter guy with a bulkier upper body. I had to get the XL of this jacket to fit my shoulders and chest which means the arm length is a little too long. I'd rather them be a little long than short but it is annoying if I'm riding in cold weather and have my gauntlet style gloves on. Fit in the chest and shoulders is perfect though. (this coming from a 5'8" 170lbs guy)

Pros: + Quality construction + Lots of vents + Looks cool + Very comfortable + Extended rear "tail" is nice

Cons: + A little warm on hot (90+) days if you are stopped

Pros: looks brilliant. the way the jacket fits it feels almost tailored. it hugs the buddy without being tight and drapes very well. looks super badass. you will NOT overheat in this thing. you will sweat a little at stops and in heavy traffic, but over 30kph you cool down super fast it breathes VERY well the vents are placed perfectly. enough room underneath for aftermarket protection.

Cons: lots of icon jackets out on the streets these days. you will see someone wearing your jacket from time to time. all black tends to be more rare tho and less noticeable if someone is wearing same jacket. padding in this is kind of rubbish tho (especially the back!!!), but thats true of ALL moto-jackets tho. BUY AN UNDER ARMOUR SUIT as well. OR AT LEAST A GOOD WRAP-AROUND BACK PROTECTOR!!!!!!!
