    Great Rain Gear |
By Smith from Harrisburg, NC
Pros: The few times I did ride with it in the rain the top half of my body stayed bone dry (it helps that it has a spring clip tightener at the neck and waist, and velcro at the wrist closures), unfortunately I didn't have the bottoms with me any of the times and ended up with soaking wet jeans. The zippered pockets kept my wallet completely dry and seem to be perfectly sealed. One of the great things about the jacket is that in front of the zipper is a velcro closure--if (or when, I should say) you get cought in a down pour it's super convenient to close the jacket with the velcro so you don't have to fiddle with the zipper or take your gloves off.
Cons: Only that it would be dangerous to ONLY wear this in the rain since it has no armour. Though, no one sane would be going very fast in the rain anyway. Also, the decales seem as if they'll not last a season without pealing.
Sizing Info: Fits 1 size larger
Additional Sizing Notes: Fits a little big, but is good if you plan to put it over another jacket in a pinch.
I Bought this jacket at the beginning of the summer and haven't had more than a few chances to use it. I bought it brand new from Kneedraggers.com for $110. It's been out in the rain less than half a dozen times. I'm 5'10" and 200 lbs. It fits a little loose. I got it sized this way so I could put it over another jacket ( I kept it in my pack ) if I had to. It's the perfect size to ball up and squeeze under the passenger seat in case of emergencies. I'd recommend the orange or yellow, though they're ugly, to stand out in the rain. Would recommend highly.
