Icon Recon Denim Pants

Pros: I wear these almost every time I go out riding because they offer great peace of mind. The vents work well in keeping the crotch region cool and the jeans are extremely durable. The Jeans are definitely heavy duty, so if you are planning on getting off your bike and walking around a summer fair or something along those lines you will definitely sweat your butt off but I bought these for protection and comfort on the bike. As a testiment to the quality, my good friend also loved the jeans and purchased the opposite color of mine. He actually was unfortunate enough to need them while avoiding an accident that took place in front of us. He had to lay the bike down on its side as he slid across the assfault. As ran over to him and he walked over to me there wasn't a scratch on him and his jeans were merely scuffed up a bit. No tears, no busted seems... just great protection. He still wears them every time we ride because they are in great shape and definitely saved him a layer of skin!

Cons: No real cons... but if you plan to go hiking or running around like a nut off the bike... you may experience some swamp ass. I'd recommend ICON's tank bag/back back to compliment the jeans as you can carry a pair of shorts or lighter clothing if you want to get adventurious.

Additional Sizing Notes: I were a size 32 and these jeans fit great, They sit very well on your hips and you won't need a belt. Very true to size. If you think that they fit too snug you just may be getting bigger!

Pros: Very nice looking pair of jeans. Slightly reinforced knees and very nice stretchy breathable material are a nice addition. They fit VERY well, waist is slightly tighter, but they won't sag/slide off your hips- which is a very good thing since in case of a spill they won't slip off.

Cons: Was looking for more support in the hip area. The only reinforced areas are the knees, and I'll be wearing the icon leg field armor anyways so I was really looking for some more support or thicker material in the hip and tail-bone area. Nevertheless, still a nice pair of breathable, good-looking jeans.

Pros: Heavy duty construction. Nice loose fit. Very high quality.

Cons: I've got to get use to the heavier seams.

Pros: The mobility of the pants is nice, I have only had a change to use them under Areostich Darien Pants, with Underarmor Cold Gear long johns ( ~ 28* F riding temp ). Seems as if the expansion panel will be fine without the long johns ( in terms of rubbing on legs / anoyance )

Cons: The Expansion panels might let through too much airflow to be useful in temps lower then 75* ( if worn without overpants )

Additional Sizing Notes: These have the same fit as the Icon Barrier Pants, which is larger in the rear end then the Icon Superduty Pants. If the Superduty Pants fit you 100%, these might run a bit large for you ( mostly seat of pants size delta ).
