Very Nice! Saves us Sport Bike Riders from looking like dorks with traditional Club Vests with tasse |
By Elliott from Austin, TX
Pros: Removable armor in the back reveals the bare leather so it allows a tailor to sew in club colors on the back. All around nice vest.
Cons: I wish they offered some sort of liner removal on the front as well (Like they did in the back for the colors) to add the patches to the front without compromising the pockets and the front liner. Also, I kinda wish they did not have the ICON logo punched in the back as some clubs might not allow the vest because some do not allow anything on the back of a vest except for the colors. They call it stripped it should be completely stripped. Other than these small issues, it is a nice vest.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: Many have said that it fits true to size or a little bigger. I have found with many Icon products that they run a bit small. I am 6'1 260, and I usually wear an XL or XXL in shirts (Usually XL) but when it comes to jackets I get a XXL because I like them a little loose. With Icon Products, I barely fit into a XXXL, this XXL/XXXL fit like a normal XXL, but was a little snug to consider it a XXXL without adjusting the straps. So for you larger fellas, make sure you adjust those straps before you consider it too small. I was able to fit it over my riding jackets without having to adjust the straps.

The only contemporary vest without a V-cut neck. |
By Anonymous from Anytown, USA
Pros: There are not very many vests out there that aren't v-cut on the neck line. This one is different in a good way and is completely blank for your own badges and such. The pockets are nice and deep and the plastic back plate is nice for safety.
Cons: At that price, some brass would have been better than plastic zippers, but they are the same zippers you find on most of your textile jackets. An inside pocket or two would be nice for extra places for cell-phone, wallet, garage opener, papers, etc. The velcro side straps, although adequate and functional, leave a little more to be desired such as leather or buckles.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: Quite a few reviews said the vest was one size too large, but I had to send a large back for a true to fit medium. The large is actually the large/x-large and even with the side straps pulled in all the way, it was too large.
