Pros: Worn this for two riding seasons now, great out of the box protection and comfort. Breaths extremely well for hot days, and the zip in liner works great for the cooler days, however would not recommend wearing below 40-35 degrees as it breaths a little to much for that cold of weather. Worth every penny I spent on it.
Cons: Back armor is a little cheap, would have preferred something a little stronger. If they had gave it a CE approved back armor it would have gotten 5 out of 5 vice a 4.5.

    Worth every penny! |
By Mike from Albany, NY on 03/01/2008
Pros: The vintage/distressed look of this jacket is incredible. It's soft and worn-in which is great in comparison to more traditional leather jackets that require a break-in period. The leather exterior and CE-rated armor in the shoulders and forearms is a reassuring safety reminder. All of the zippers, patches, buttons, enclosures & snaps secure tightly and are well-produced. The look of the jacket is sick, it reminds me of vintage flat-track/track jackets from the 60's & 70's. The interior has a removable full-length insulated liner, not just a vest, for colder riding days. The leather is perforated underneath the arms, and there are vents at the top by the shoulders & on the back towards the sides for ventilation and airflow for warmer riding days. The jacket is extremely comfortable to wear and while my size L fits snugly (as most motoycycle jackets are designed to) there are expansion slots and tightening snaps just in case. Overall, I highly recommend this jacket to any rider!
Cons: The only functional miscue of this jacket is the flimsy foam back protector. A more durable CE-rated protector should be included with this jacket to round out the already stellar safety characteristics (CE-rated shoulder and forearm armor + leather). I am going to replace the stock back protector with an aftermarket one after I measure its dimensions. Completely unrelated to the functionality of the jacket, more on an aesthetic note, I don't like the skull patches down the forearms and will probably have them removed. Other than these two (comparably minor) issues there is nothing negative enough that should deter you from purchasing this jacket.
