Pros: Breathers better then expected. Quality of leather and craftsmanship much higher then expected.

Cons: Jacket seems short, wrists tight, sleeves long.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Additional Sizing Notes: Only sells even sizes, joe rocket doesn't offer odds.

This jacket is a very good performer. A full on leather that breaths like a cotten jacket. I've worn this jacket on 80 degree plus days and it was very comfortable. Believe me not moving it gets hot so if you sit in traffic a lot might not be for you. But cruisin on a warmer day was very comfortable. Inner sleeves are made of a stretchy material that breathes nicely and the vents are nicely placed to help force air into the jacket. Word of caution, if you open the front vents open the rear or the jacket acts as a parachute literially. Thats how well the vents work. I was always kind of nevrous about the JR brand but the build of the jacket reminds me of the alpinestar I had owned. But the build seems to be more bigger guy friendly. I'm not tremendously over weight but I do have a small pot belly and the joe rocket seems to fit more forgiving then the alpinestar did. Now I don't look like a fat guy in a small coat. My chest size is a 47 and I thought to be safe and buy the 48 but the 48 was WAY to large. I returned and bought a 46 from kneedraggers and the fit is almost perfect, just a hair tight but I'm confident that the jacket will break in nicely. After 2 weeks of using the jacket I'm already feeling it loosening up and the fit keeps getting better. The wrists seem tight, if you wear a different kind of glove besides a guantlet style your kinda s-o-l. Keep in mind I wear a wrist height glove and usually tuck my glove under the wrist of the sleeve, this is why the wrist on this jacket is tight. If you wear a guantlet style jacket that fits over top this wouldn't be an issue. And the length of the jacket seems short I find myself pulling the jacket down a lot just about every stop light. The belt loop hook would have been nice of this jacket. I may have them tailored in. A ton of adjustment so if something seems loose its very easy to work it out. But overall I'm very happy with this purchase and I now looking for a joe rocket mesh for the really hot days.

 first jacket

By country from Texas

Pros: i love the jacket it looks awesome even though its a warm weather jacket the liner inside helps knock off the cool winds on the ride to work in the mornings

Cons: i ordered the jack 2 sizes bigger and it fits snugger than i had planned, the jacket seems a little short

Comments: over all its an awesome jacket mainly for warm riding but its good enough for those cool mornings as well

 Fit & Features

By 636 from california

Pros: 1.Snap adjusters at the forearm....Eliminates windflap 2.both snap & velcro adjusters at the wrist + zippered ends 3. Substantial armor...very solid, back armor piece protects from about lower mid of back and up...very large 4. Snap adjusters at the neck 5. vents on bicep and on torso+2 more on the back 6.stretch panels on arms work great, feels like stretchy canvas.

Cons: The inner liner is a joke, better than nothing but jesus this thing is so thin you rub the liner between your fingers and can barely feel insulation, Would recommend getting a thicker liner if your doing any cold weather riding this is a very minor gripe and you can always wear a thin fleece jacket underneath.

Sizing Info: Fits 1 size larger

Additional Sizing Notes: I am only about a 38-40 inch chest, so to give my self some "breathing room" I went with a size 44 which is 42-44 inch chest size based on the size guide....it is still tight enoughsport fit but its not overkill. Try it on first but I would say a size larger wouldn't hurt

Comments: only other jackets worth checking out in this range are probably the TEKNIC VIOLATOR

 great jacket

By Anonymous from Murray, KY

Pros: The jacket looks awesome. It has a heavy duty zipper, that connects and zips easily, even with gloves on, and the vents do their job well. Great price too

Cons: the pocket openings are on the sides of the jacket, and are difficult to access when your zipped up, which may get better after the jacket is broken in.

Sizing Info: Other

Additional Sizing Notes: I'm 6'3'', 180 lbs, and it's hard to find a jacket with a long arm and torso, and still be snug in the chest. I found it with the blaster 4.0. It's a little tight in the armpit, but a great overall fit.
