 Not Bad But Has Problems

By Michael from San angelo, TX

Pros: Versital. Panels on sleeves and front and back comes off for venting. I feel very safe that if I do fall I will be able to walk away safe and sound. Great jacket for Texas summers and temps down to 50's.

Cons: Like others have noticed. The straps on the arms for tightening the elbows break. I wore this jacket everyday for about 3 months and the left one broke. The right one is cracking. Checking on if its covered by warranty. The velcro on the outer sleeves isn't quite good enough, they like to come loose while riding. Collar is too short when you get into cold weather. Jacket liner would have been better with a light fleece rather then a wind breaker style. Liner makes me sweat alot, so its on a shelf in my closet.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

I was hoping that this Jacket would have served both winter and summer duties but Im in the process of finding a winter jacket. Service from Kneedraggers was great. Fast shipping. Good deals.

 Great Product

By Chris from New Jersey

Pros: Killer jacket... Warm, waterproof and comfortable. The weight of the jacket screams of its durability. The body armour is extremely snug in all the right places. Great design with all the necessities. My first impressions of the jacket were very positive as I took it out of the box. The jacket continues to impress me. Very happy with this purchase.

Cons: Nothing reflective on the jacket.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Additional Sizing Notes: Medium was true to size with room for a hoody underneath.

Comments: This is my second Joe Rocket which I bought for a 1200 mile ride from NJ to SC. I needed a jacket that is very warm yet can open up as the weather changes throughout the ride. Right now its... (Read the rest of this review)

Not a bad all around jacket

By Anonymous from Albeta Canada

Pros: The jacket is great if you ride in area's where there are dramtic climate changes. I wore it and loved when it got up to 34 celcius. I could take the arms and chest pieces off and ride around in comfort. I also used the included rain gaurd and it worked awesome, keeps out the wind and kept me dry.

Cons: It looks boring. For a sport bike type jacket it is very bland looking. The biggest problem i have is the velcro straps over the wrist area. They do not hold well and are bulky so it is hard to get the sleeves into my gloves. Also the neck area lets in a bit of a draft when you are riding without the chest cover on. Lastly the quality of joe rocket products seems to be going down over the years. They used to put reflective logos on the sholders of their jackets and more reflective fabric in them for night visability. Could have used some better pockets as well.

Comments: It is a great jacket for touring and city day to day riding. It looks great when you have it zipped down to hot weather mode but other wise it is a pretty bland jacket. If you are more about... (Read the rest of this review)

 Saved me more then once.

By Andrew from Saint louis, MO

Pros: This jacket really works well in the event of a crash. Shoulders and Backprotector stay in place in a crash but Elbow pads need the arms tightened to stay. This jacket has saved me more then Once.

Cons: You need to have the arms strapped over for the elbow pads to stay in place (after first impact).

Sizing Info: Fits 1 size larger

Additional Sizing Notes: For Athletic builds, the sides straps may need to be tightened all the way to fit. Definately fits 1/2 - 1 size larger. Medium fits like a 40 Reg/Long jacket.

Comments: This jacket is fantastic. On concrete, the jacket only tore a little but has not freyed out or come apart. Everything is well made, the Zippers are Strong and Sturdy and the material survives... (Read the rest of this review)

 Large

By Nate from Anytown, USA

Pros: Nice Jacket

Cons: None

Sizing Info: Fits 1 size larger

Additional Sizing Notes: This jacket seems to run larger than normal. I have a JR Meteor 2 jacket in large, and this jacket is WAY bigger, so if you need a large, I would recommend trying a medium
