Additional Sizing Notes: Fits tighter than the Joe Rocket 5.0 Ballistic pants. Order one size larger than you usually wear if you want to use them as overpants
Good overpants that allow a commuter to wear full protection over slacks or casual clothes.
The zipper upgrade was essential as the previous 5.0 had cheap zippers that broke.
The new zipper length is extremely annoying if you wear these as overpants and put them over boots and clothes. Hopping around trying to get your foot in is embarassing. The previous 5.0 model had full length zippers that went from the bottom all the way up to the hip, and those were much more manageable than these zippers that only go just above the knee.
The 2 optional knee armor positions are placed better than in the previous 5.0 model.
