 Nice Pants

By Dave from Fayetteville, NC

Pros: Comfortable pants. Padding was okay. I order the pants in tall size and they fit very well.

Cons: Hip padding could be a little thicker. The knee pads seem to fit fine when in the riding position, but hang rather low when standing. So remember if you crash keep you knees in the riding position and your knees will be better protected.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Additional Sizing Notes: The pants fits true to size if you are wearing shorts. If your are wearing pants and a belt it will be snug so I suggest getting one size larger. The zipper actually busted on mine so I sent them back requesting a larger size.

 Wonldn't fit .

By airspro from Michigan , USA

Pros: Short size fit perfect for 30 in inseam .

Cons: 3XL wasn't even close to a size 44 waist . More like a 40 IMO . I could only get the pants up if the front zipper was left all the way OPEN .

Sizing Info: Fits 2 sizes smaller

Additional Sizing Notes: Product was incorrectly sized from the factory IMO .

Comments: After paying to have this item shipped back , plus the 15% restocking fee ,( with no "short" size in 4XL either ) I am just a mite ticked off . Seeing as I feel that the product while well made... (Read the rest of this review)

By kyle from ks

Pros: These pants fit great. I'm 6'5" 200lbs. I ordered a 34 tall and they are plenty long and the waist has the right amount of adjustability. The armor in the knees is thick. These pants are made well. They would probably hold up quite well in a crash.

Cons: The knee armor would probably move around during a crash although I'm sure it's still much better than having nothing at all. The hip armor is minimal, but in all reality would probably be ok.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

 Great for overpants

By Anonymous from Anytown, USA

Pros: Good quality.

Cons: The leg openings feel big while I'm riding. I'm afraid of it getting hung up on the bike.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

 Good Product, Unfit for Me

By Anonymous from Monterey, CA

Pros: Quality is good, sturdy looking build, with all the features I expected for the price. Knee and hip pads, 2 pockets, side zipper up to the hip socket, and even 2 Velcro compressors by the feet that I didn't expect. Just enough technical features to make it practical, making it a good balance between features and price.

Cons: The rear 8" zipper wouldn't zip to my Joe Rocket jacket. Total disappointment since I searched only Joe Rocket pants for that sole reason. Not sure why they wouldn't line up, it looked like everything was fine, but I just couldn't get the zipper to tug.

Sizing Info: Fits 1 size larger

Additional Sizing Notes: It seems to me that Joe Rocket products all run a little roomy. In hindsight, I chose the wrong size. I'm 5'4" and 135 lbs, normally size S. I went with a Med-Short because that was the only way to get a short length version, thinking that the extra space would be filled in with my work pants underneath. I was wrong, Even with the liner attached and wearing my work pants underneath, the pant is still roomy on me, so much that the knee pads are all over...deal breaker. I should have ordered the size I normally wear.

Comments: Decent product. Just wish it fit better and that I could attach it to my jacket. Besides that, I'd ride with it.
