Pros: I went down with this jacket. My left side was ripped up but I had NO road rash at all! The jacket took all the damage. So is the jacket any good?

Joe Rocket Big Bang Mens Sport Textile Jacket ROCKS!

Pros: Fits perfect, maybe a hair to big, but that means I can gain a little weight without worrying. The sleeves are a perfect length. I'm 6'0 240 (built like a linebacker). And I have long arms (36/37) and this jacket, in the arms, feels like it's custom fit for me. I felt good in 60 degree weather but when I was by Lake Michigan I could feel the cold. I really like this jacket and I'm thinking about purchasing the leather version of it.
Cons: None.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: I have longer arms and so I thought this would not be long enough without going to a larger size. But it fits perfectly. For the first time I rode yesterday and I felt NO wind up my arms (without gaulet gloves).
Comments: The only reason I did not give this a perfect rating is because I don't know how it feels in warmer weather. However based on how it felt, I think it will be perfect.

Saved my chest!

Pros: Jacket saved my chest from severe road rash. I did the superman on the asphalt at 40 and nothing happened to my chest except one little spot where the zipper hit my chest, but very small spot, didnt even notice it till i took my shirt off. Jacket held up very well, tore two holes in it, but did not get to me. Breathes very well, and is warm with the liner. Rode in 80 and 40 degree weather, and is great for both days.
Sizing Info: Fits 1 size smaller
Additional Sizing Notes: Fits slightly small, shirt hangs out the bottom and sleeves come up an inch or 2 while in riding position.
Comments: Awesome jacket will have to buy a new one now. Will get the same one or something close to it. Go JOE ROCKET!

Hot during the day but warm in winter

Pros: Nice during cool days because the vents allow just enough air to pass through. They also close tightly to avoid air when the weather is a bit chilly.
Cons: HOT during the warmer days. The vents help a bit but anytime you arnt running 30 mph or more you will cook.

Comments: Overall a good buy but i would suggest a cooler jacket for the summer months.
