Great glove regardless of price |
By Anonymous from Monterey, CA on 08/25/2008
Pros: Great fit, good protection. all around good even compared to my dainese gloves. The extra tightening strap at the wrist is awesome. My jacket is bulky and always pushes my gauntlets down, but that strap works at keeping the glove tight to my hand. External seams make it ultra comfortable.
Cons: Plastic knuckle protector is a bit bulky. Surprisingly the air intake on the knuckle does work, but only at highway speeds and at the right angle. I'd still prefer something low profile.
Thumb is a bit tight to reach back to hit turn signal; I have to loosen left hand grip to reach turn signal, glove just doesn't stretch that way...annoying.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: I have small hands (of a 5'4" build). I got small and it fits perfectly. When I sit down and nitpick theres just a weeee bit of extra fingerlength compared to my size small Icon shorties. Anyway, when I try on Alpinestars, they dig a bit on the knuckles. These Joe Rockets feel like they're already broken in.
Glad I bought em. In the end, I think they're a bit bulky for me to commute with. And although I'd prefer a latex glove slim feel for track, I can appreciate the protection. I'd use this for track. Since the external seams make this my most comfortable set of gloves, I wear these for long group rides.

    Great riding gloves |
By SK from NJ, USA on 05/02/2008
Pros: Very nice gloves. Looks and feels as stated by Joe Rocket, which is nice and comfortable. Appears to have the protection that makes a motorcyclist feel safe and confident. Have to still see how they might perform during the winter months; my guess is that they would be fine.
Cons: None.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: My suggestion is to measure your hand and check online for the sizing chart. If your hand falls between two sizes then get the larger one.
Comments: Shopping with KneeDraggers.com was a very very pleasurable and satisfactory experience, the items was received well in time and nicely packed. Great job! KneeDraggers.com, Keep it up!

    Great value; Excellent service |
By Matt from SoCal on 12/14/2007
Pros: After a good dozen rides the gloves are fitting in nicely. The wrist strap closure is helping keep my hand 'forced' into the glove and it continues to stretch and conform to my hand. The double wrist closure works well.
Cons: The plastic scood on the top of the glove is inflexible so is a bit uncomfortable during the break in period.
Would have liked to be able to purchase an all-black glove (mine has red highlights)
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: I've got hands that fall right in between Medium and Large with fairly short fingers so finding gloves that fit well is always a challenge. I ordered a size Medium and hoped for the best. Predictably, the gloves were very snug across the palm and finger length was just about right. I made the right choice.
Comments: Very satisfied with this product.

Pros: great design, snug fit, protection in the right spots. can't be beat for the money
Cons: a little TOO snug in the cuff. doesn't twist very well over the cuff of my jacket. i loosened it up all the way and it helps a little. only a problem when you first put them on and your thumb is pointed up. once you get your thumb pointed sideways (like you'd grip the bars) it works itself out.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: very tight right now, but hoping they'll break in like my other jr gloves.
Comments: i bought these according to the sizing chart on the package this time instead of how they fit on me before they're broken in. my other gloves were fine at first, but broke in WAY too loose. these... (Read the rest of this review)
