Pros: These pants are great in hot weather, the mesh ventilation is awesome. The fit is nice, and they are much more "tasteful" than some of the other ladies' riding pants on the market. Maybe I have a different "version" of these pants than the other reviewers but I didn't find the legs to be too wide at all. With all the zippers done up they fit fairly snugly over my boots (they definitely aren't meant to be tucked in!). Also, mine don't have any embroidery, just a small flower logo on the right hip and at the back waist. The full zip legs are very handy, makes them very easy to get into and out of.
Cons: When I wore these pants on a long trip through some very hot weather, they started to chafe my knees pretty badly so I would strongly recommend wearing something like Under Armor leggings underneath to avoid this. You will also have to put sweats or long underwear under them in colder weather. I had the unfortunate experience of crashing at the track wearing these pants, and while the knee armor held up very well and did its job, the mesh panel under the knee pretty much disintegrated so I'm sure the structural integrity of the pants is compromised and I'll have to replace them. Considering I went down at under 40 km/h I would be skeptical of how well they would hold up in a higher speed crash.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: I ordered my "normal" size, but I also only wear Under Armor leggings underneath these. I would order a size bigger if I wanted to fit them over jeans.
Overall, they are better than jeans because they have some armor, and they are great for hot weather. However, leather pants would be much better protection-wise.

Pros: good construction; easy to get on.
Unlike many Joe Rocket pieces, doesn't say "Joe Rocket" on every last corner of the garment.
Cons: bellbottom styling so wide, it would be dangerous to ride in these!
Not shown in the photo -- these pants have a large (~6-inch) flower embroidered on the right hip. I was expecting plain black pants, and this detail was not to my taste.
Sizing Info: Fits 1 size smaller
Additional Sizing Notes: Actually fits about a half-size smaller, which wasn't an option above -- they fit me perfectly standing up, but too tightly for sitting on a bike. Definitely order at least one size larger than your regular pants size if you plan to wear over jeans or street clothes.
Comments: These aren't wide-leg pants -- they are extreme bellbottoms! There was so much fabric at the hem of these pants, I feared it would get caught in my bike once the wind started flapping at it. My... (Read the rest of this review)
