Pros: comfortable pair of riding jeans, very casual looking.

Cons: pockets not big enough, also cuffs are too boot cut.

Comments: comfortable for everyday use, do not know if will allow for knee pads for underneath wear.

Pros: Love the "black". It's actually a very dark blue (trendy style now). The protection is as good as your going to get with non padded jeans. The fit is fantastic (just like Levi's 501 jeans). Very casual, NORMAL looking pair of jeans! Knees and butt have mesh fabric (ity bity steel fibers in fabric). COMFORTABLE jeans!

Cons: I question the STEEL MESH. Would like to see a demo. And the mesh is VERY thin (don't even notice it). Jeans are not that thick. Same as 501 jeans. Other than that....superb!!

Additional Sizing Notes: They fit about 1/2 smaller in waist than Levi's 501 jeans.

Pros: They look like a regular pair of jeans. You can wear these to work and not look like you just got off a snowmobile or something - like a lot of motorcycle gear. The black fabric on the inside looks pretty tough - good abrasion protection.

Cons: The abrasion protected parts are only on the knees and butt. So if you crash on those two parts of your body only, you'll be in fine shape. I'm not really sure how the safety of these jeans compares to just a regular pair you could buy at The Gap or something - because these seem really just like a regular pair of jeans. I don't think these protect you as much as leather and armor. Wearing these pants is sort of like tipping your hat to safety but not really being very safe.

Additional Sizing Notes: These may fit a little large. If in doubt, get the smaller size. They're pretty baggy, which is good for wearing additional protection underneath - like padded shorts and knee and shin armor.
