Pros: I crash-tested this jacket on the track, along with a pair of discontinued JR pants and they held up nicely. Everyone told me the waist zipper would fail but it was not the case. The jacket also has good venting up to about 95 degrees, then it's still too hot. I like the styling and my husband keeps telling me how hot I look in it. The pockets are well placed but could use some oversized zipper pulls. The pointed hem in the back is a very slimming addition. Also, except for the small patch on the shoulders, the logo isn't plastered all over the jacket so you're not giving the company too much free advertising, unlike Icon. The snaps at the wrist and collar are easy to get at with heavy gloves on.
Cons: The armor is nice but doesn't have the hard backing so it might need upgraded. The flared waist ensures that it stays in place but may enlarge the look of the waist if not paired with some snug-fitting pants. They look great with my jeans and unpadded leather pants but not so good with my padded track pants. But I also need everything a size smaller that it is currently. Make sure you try it on! Finally, the liner looks really cool - pink camo print - but seems to get dirty very quickly around the collar and can't be properly cleaned wiothout sending the whole jacket out for drycleaning.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: Waist seems to flare out a bit. May fit just a little on the large size but not much. Make sure you get that no-hassle return policy. Every girl fits differently!
Overall, the jacket is very sturdy and rather heavy on the hanger but incredibly comfortable once you put it on; there are no rub points. I would crash in it again and not worry about my skin or major repairs to the jacket. However, the armor, especially the back protector, should be upgraded for serious track use.
