LSL's "Crash Pads" are CNC machined from aircraft grade billet aluminum. Manufactured in Germany, LSL Crash Pads are more than just protection for your expensive bodywork and case covers. They are engineered to prevent the bike from spinning with the shape of their replaceable poly inserts. The silver, black and titanium crash pads are anodized, while the red and blue crash pads are transparent powder coated. All finishes provide a durable weather resistant coating that is as good looking as it is tough.

LSL's "Crash Pad" mounting kits are CNC machined from aircraft grade billet aluminum. These mount kits are developed for the specific needs of each model. For example the 03 GSXR1000 mount kit, (pictured right) was developed in conjunction with Suzuki Germany, under racing conditions, to reinforce the frame (at the motor mount) to prevent frame damage in the event of a crash.

 Well worth the money

By Sre Harsha from Tempe, AZ

Pros: These frame sliders have a solid build and mount perfectly on the engine cases. I love the looks.

Cons: The mounting kit is available only in Aluminum finish.

I painted my mounting kit with high temperature spray paint (balk) I picked up from Pepboys, this makes the sliders look like stock components and are completely flush with the bike. They don't protrude as much as the conventional ones do, so I was worried if the sliders would offer at least some protection to my fairing in case of a slow speed drop (I know its not their primary purpose). Guess what! Two days after installing them I dropped my bike (unintentionally - almost standing still), there is not a single scratch on my bike! The bike completely rested on the slider and only my handle bars and tail indicator touched the ground (with zero damage). These sliders seem to be well worth the money and are very well made!

Pros: GREAT finish on the product, and much more stylish than your average slider. The pucks themselves have "stages" of impact absorption which I think will work better in a crash. Also the pucks are replaceable and come in many different colors. Lastly the shape of the sliders make them less likely to catch anything while sliding i.e. the curb so there is less of a chance the bike will flip causing more damage.

Cons: I wish the mounts came in black so that they would blend into the bike. Not too much of a problem because I just sprayed some high temp. gloss black paint on them and they look much better on my bike now.

Comments: The way the mount on the CBR600rr is different. Instead of the traditional engine bolt mount, the LSL sliders are mounted on the clutch cover and crankcase. I was worried that because those bolts... (Read the rest of this review)

 Perfect, but pricey

By Anonymous from Morrison, CO

Pros: Perfect fit, NO fairing mods, very strong (almost overbuilt!), look sweet

Cons: Expensive comapred to other sliders, have to eyeball alignment.

Comments: Do I go with $70 sliders and cut holes in a $300 fairing, or do I spend $150 on better sliders? Easy choice for me. These don't mount to engine bolts like other sliders, they mount to thick,... (Read the rest of this review)

By Triston from Land O Lakes, Fl

Pros: great design and look, love the fact the sliders mount into the motor and not the frame, less stress on impact and no cutting required

Cons: the stator side looks a little funny because it requires a spacer to protect fairings so it's not flush

Comments: great product, looks and functions great and definately one of a kind!
