Still not convinced that Pilot Power is for you? Well, now there's a dual-compound version, a direct descendant of our MotoGP technology. With a softer rubber mix on the shoulders, the new Pilot Power 2CT will satisfy even the most demanding sport riders. Want to carve corners at extreme lean angles? Do you feel like you've found the limit with your current tires? Does your new literbike have more power than your tires can use? If so, then it's time to switch to the new Pilot Power 2CT.
2-Compound Technology divides the tread into different sections, each occupied by a different rubber compound intended to perform a specific function.
On Michelin Pilot Power 2CT tires, the center of the tread is capable of withstanding high speeds, sudden acceleration and braking, and other demanding riding conditions. The outer edges of the tread come into use at maximum lean angles. Their rubber compound is 20% softer than the center tread, to provide optimal grip at lower speeds and thus delivering outstanding traction when cornering.

Pros: What a tire! I used to run on power pilot, but now i put the 2cts (front & rear) and they perform just great. They are like glue at hard lean angles, they get warm fast and you get tons of confidence and feedback. I do 60% track days, 40% twisty road ridings cannot be more happy!!!
Cons: none

1st michelins for the 'busa..
By Ray T. from Manchester,NH
Pros: first 2 sets of tires were Bridgestones OEM's and they're ok...but the Michelins transformered the hayabusa from a heavy sportbike into a middleweight with a monster engine. I have just over 3500 miles on my first set of 2ct's and I've couldnt be happier with them. They are wearing well even with hard weekend riding and commuting from time to time.Warm up time is quick and front end feedback is outstanding. Same for the rear tire. Ive hit lean angles that would have overhelmed the Bridgestones easily.
Cons: None yet...except I've missed on a couple of great package deals on the 2ct's...gotta change that...

Pros: Sticky while they are new.
Cons: Wear is horrible.
Comments: I have done 4 trackdays on these tires and the rear is already down to the wear indicaters on the right side. The front is in perfect condition but I will have to replace the rear. Running 30 - 32... (Read the rest of this review)

Not for everyday riding
By Anonymous from Fayetteville, GA
Pros: All around great tire for sport/racing. Handles wonderfully with extreme grip in the corners. Best handling tire I have riden on. The tires warm up quick and stick like glue.
Cons: I am no racer and the tire wears extremely quick. I was only able to put about 3200 miles on my rear tire before threads started to show. I also noticed uneaven layered wear in the center of the tire. Do not buy this tire unless you ride hard because the center will wear down long before the edges will if you are not dragging knees in the corners.
