Michelin Pilot Power tires are the first series of tires to benefit from a rubber compound formula specific to competition tires: C-RAO (Compounds-Racing Optimization). This C-RAO rubber mix gives the Pilot Power incredible grip, and especially quick warm-up time, with no compromise in durability compared to the current Pilot Sport tire. These properties result from a combination of three 100-percent synthetic components, identical to those used in Michelin MotoGP tires
Features:
Macro-molecular compounds (MMC).
High-technology synthetic compounds (HTSC).
Proprietary, 100-percent synthetic Michelin Racing Synthetic Elastomers (MRSE), which came directly from 2003 Michelin MotoGP tires.
Pros: I don't know what some people are talking about. I scrape my foot peggs on the back roads all the time. These tires warm up faster than anyone I ride with and everyone is impressed. These tires turn into bubble gum in under a minute of swervin back and forth. I can never get these tires to spin. 12:00 everytime.
Cons: Wet traction is jsut as good as dry. Unbelievable till ur scraping ur pegg on a wet road in the rain. Amazing tires.

Cons: A very good factory replacement tire for the high speed bikes, they work well around corners when warmed up.
Comments: Not made for high lean angles

Pros: good cold grip, very good hot grip and works well with stock ride heights. My last set saw over 4000 mi of playing in the corners and still had ok grip.
Cons: its not easy but thay will overheat. when thay break loose its all at once
Comments: pilot powers are a good all around tire for normal use. you can drag a knee, commute, stunt or anything in between. They are not my first or even fifth pick for a track tire but that is just... (Read the rest of this review)

Pros: This tire was a revelation compared to the stock Bridgestone BT-56 which I lived with for way too long. The Pilot Power warms up fast, wears well and provides a nicely cushioned ride. Also...No balancing was required in my case. Other tires feels like round rocks compared to this beauty. Set at 30 PSI and you're done...
