A tough tool designed for shop use, also makes a perfect tool kit item.
Properly used, the tool will break hundreds of chain links without failure.
Pushes chain link pin completely through link. Handle folds to fit mall tool pouch.
Replaceable pin is heat treated and hardened for long life.
For shop use tool may be used with an air or electric impact wrench.

Pros: Priced very well compared to other chain breakers

Cons: The pin provided is very weak when it comes to breaking a 530 chain. Spend the extra money and get a decently priced chain breaker. Unless you are trying to preserve rivet type master links I would just grind off the link with a dremel tool.

Pros: Everyone told me to grind the rivet heads off my chain first, but I didn't have a grinder or even a metal file. I put the Motion Pro breaker straight on the chain. It works perfectly on both old and the new chains. The packaging says you can use an impact wrench, but I didn't bother getting mine off the shelf. I just used a 3/8" ratchet to turn it with ease.

Cons: none so far!
