The tool body may be bolted to a work bench for production work, held in a vise or by the included handle.

Made in the U.S.A. Replacement pins available separately.
Pros: My first try at breaking a chain.Hefty tool. Its easy to break the chain by hand alone and it has holes on the bottom to bolt it to a board or table when putting it back together. On my Ducati the chain has to be put on-site because it goes through the swingarm. I just bolted it to a plank for stability and went at it.
Cons: Careful using a big 2ft long socket wrench it may over squeeze the masterlink and make it split, take ur time and get a even spread. The inside spring of mine got squished after serveral breaks because I squeezed the pin all the way out, I use a spring from a ink pen to replace.
I dont use a regular wrench, instead a good T-handle ratchet set will do the job. Good instructions.

Pros: Very quick and easy to use, with an impact wrench I spent 20 minutes total doing the chain.
Cons: The instructions are a little vague but its pretty straight forward to use and can be figured out with a little time.

Love this little tool!
By Christopher from Denver, CO on 02/21/2008
Pros: Extremely sturdy tool, has the option to use the screw-in handle for on-the-bike use, or to bolt it down to a table or workbench. All the attachments necessary are included: to break a chain, press a masterlink plate, or rivet pins. The instructions are very straightforward, and it was extremely easy with just garage tools (and a little help from my impact wrench) to break my old 520 chain, press the plate on the new chain, and rivet the masterlink together in under 10 minutes!
Cons: It's a little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for.

Pros: This was my first time installing a new chain. The tool worked perfectly, It feels heavy duty and I had no concerns about it breaking, it pressed the rivots effortlessly. The service and price from Kneedraggers was also excellent. I ordered it online sunday evening and it arrived wednesday.
