Pros: I love this bag! It's just big enough for my daily commute. (The next size up would be more practical, but I wanted to keep it relatively small for daily use.) I can fit my jacket's rain liner, the bag's rain cover, my wheel lock, visor, a sandwich, and various little items in the main compartment with no problem. The outside pockets are handy for wallet, keys, phone, garage door opener... stuff you may need access to on the road. I haven't used the map pocket yet, but it's easily big enough for printed directions. (I would never use it for an actual map, so see no relevance in those complaints.) The magnets are strong so it doesn't slide around at all. I don't think it will scratch my tank, but I'm also pretty careful to lift the magnets first when removing the bag. I also think it looks MUCH cooler than all those boxy square bags.
Cons: The only con so far is that the magnets in one set of flaps tend to slide towards the bag. When this happens, they don't make contact with each other and flap around when carrying the bag. You have to work them through the fabric back out towards the ends of the flaps so they'll overlap each other, thus making a magnetic connection and staying folded in. The other set of flaps don't have this problem since there is also a magnet in the base of the bag on that end that attracts those flaps. Not sure why there isn't a magnet in the base on the other end to act in the same way. This is a pretty minor complaint, though.
