Proprietary GONT compound in two densities: one for extra grip on the bars to minimize movement and the outside layer to provide maximum comfort and vibration absorption for the sport rider.
Pros: I changed out the stock grips on my 08 GSX-R 600 and replaced them with these.
Not only do they fit great, they feel very tacky/grippy.
Throttle response is not changed or slowed with these grips.
I took a trip to Kansas City this weekend with a passenger. Total, we rode about 500 miles with the new grips. Even with the added pressure on my hands from the passenger, these grips are "squishy" enough that my hands never hurt or got tired.
I would recommend them to anyone who wants a comfortable and grippy grip.
Cons: -must cut holes into the ends (not a big deal, but a con nonetheless)
-on my all black motorcycle, the black and silver grips aren't as dark black as I would like
I got these grips because the other progrips that I want are backordered.
The ones I want have a little more cushion for your fingers.
I didn't want to ride to Kansas City on the stock grips, but these things ended up being great! I may just keep them and give the thicker ones to a friend.
