great tank pad... ;-)
By jadie from Richmond, VA on 12/11/2007
Pros: its great, no, PERFECT for me and my bike. Its 2 separate pieces so you can adjust accordingly but mostly for me as a short rider with shorter arms my upper body and waist really hug on that tank. The progrip duo is plenty enough which protects from my zipper ( waist to chest -- Im a chick so when I say chest I mean the protruding boobs ). It saved my tank and it looks good.
Cons: If your bike has a lot of lines and curves then you may run into some parts of the grip pad edges coming off. Just measure it put before you stick it on. I stuck it on an 07' gsxr 1000 and the upper side edges come up on the curve of the tank up top where it bends.

Pros: Good thick resin material that adheres well.
Offers good coverage for where it's designed.
Cons: No negatives really.
The prices are a little steep for all, but no biggie considering buffing out scratches on the tank from zippers is no cheaper or easier.
