Pros: Definite improvement in feel, comfort, and looks. The gel aspect seems to cut vibration down a bit which should mean less arm and hand fatigue.
Cons: No negatives.
To remove the old grips, use an air compressor and a small (basketball inflation type of tip) tip, and insert the tip between the handlebar and the old grip to inflate the grip away from the bar; and ease the grip off the bar.
To ease installation, I spray hairspray inside the new grip and it will slide on much easier, and give some adhesion after drying (you will need to let it dry overnight).
