Good kit but could be better

Pros: The screws are much better than the stock plastic screws.

Cons: The screws are not long enough for the two that are in the middle on my '07 600RR (there are three up each side). The gromets are crap; the rubber is too soft and tears while trying to install them into the upper faring stay. The bolts have the same thread pattern and diameter as the stock bolts so you can use the factory gomets. The bolts are too short to go through the windscreen as well as the upper faring stay (only a factor for the middle 2) - Puig should put at least two bolts into the kit that are about a 1/4" longer. The head on the bolt is smaller than stock so when tightening down the teflon washer will squeeze out from underneath the head of the bolt.

Overall, these are better than the stock plastic screws. However, the only thing good about them was the bolts, everything else was sub-par in my opinion. I would consider buying them again but I think I could get black, metric, allen headed machine screws from a hardware store for less than the Puig set. My recommendation if you want to save time finding the right screw (or just want them for the color) is to get this kit and keep the factory grommets.

great product, minor issues

Pros: High quality material, very nice product

Cons: on the CBR the middle screws have to fit in a mounting area predrilled by the factory because these are a hairline bigger than the stock ones they did not fit in the middle holes had to use two stock screws for these two holes, then used the Puig ones for the rest. Save your stock srews!!

Comments: Over all they are nice great quality, Not sure if this fitment issue only affects cbr's but save your stock screws just in case.
