3mm thickness helps absorb vibration at high speeds, and offers resistance from cracking or scratching.
All screens are developed using information from wind tunnel testing.
Pros: Fit perfect, looks great. Puig makes great quality windscreens, when I got the bike there was already a Puig screen on it but it was a double bubble style which I don't like. Got this to replace it and am very happy. Deflects the wind almost as well as the double bubble but doesn't make the bike look bad.
