Looks great! But take your time.

Pros: The look is so much better on my '06 Honda CBR600 F4I. The installation instructions provided most of the necessary information. You will have to "assume" quite a bit when it comes to where to cut. Suffice to say, it isn't for the faint hearted! I marked my fender just under the existing body work with white chalk and cut above that line straight in to the center of the bike. I then cut from the other side till it met with the opposite side and poof! All done. I only needed to trim a small amount to create enough clearance for the license plate bolts. I ended up purchasing some "Molex" wire connectors so that the turn signals, tail light and license plate light could all be disconnected with ease. Most of the stock cargo area remains untouched. It has to because the upper mounting bolts for the fender must remain to hold everything up(wiring harnesses, relays, controls, etc.). All in all I am very happy with the product and the outcome.

Cons: As I mentioned above, the directions are lacking in clarity. The wiring colors noted on the instructions did not match at all. I test wired everything to confirm the actual wiring diagram and went from there. No big deal in the end. The fit was good with one problem. The undertail is molded to fit the 2 screw points on the bottom of the existing body work. The only issues is, the undertail is too wide by about 1/2". So one side fits nice and snug (right) and the other (left) overlaps the undertail. In then end, you can't really tell by looking at it so no big deal to me. Don't drill for these 2 holes until you test fit the whole assembly on the bike. I drilled the holes while the body and the undertail were off the bike, just like the directions showed, but as stated above, I should have waited. Everything else was good. I am still thrilled with the outcome! P.S. I used the existing bracket for the old tail light to help hold the undertail to the body work.

One other thing. My undertail did not come with the hole for the seat latch drilled. As it turned out, that was perfect because I located it between the tail lights and the license plate bracket. No modifications were needed to the lock or cable holder. Just drill the hole to the correct size and file out the notch for the lock.
