Pros: The alarm is really loud and pager feature is very helpful. The remote seems durable enough, is waterproof, and comes with a non-removable rechargable battery and charger.
Cons: I do not think that the alarm/remote actually work up to 1/2 mile away. Eventhough the alarm will go off if someone messes with the ignition, it will still be able to be started. Scorpio should offer the ignition disable, as they do on their SR-i500 model.
I bought this alarm for my 2001 DR-Z400S. It is excellent. I recommend this alarm, as your bike is never safe enough. If you can't see your bike and the alarm is triggered, you are paged and in the know. I also have an SR-i500 alarm on my 2003 Ninja. I bought the anti-hijack, ignition disable, perimeter sensor, and battery back up for this bike. With all these features, I think the SR-i500 is far superior, and when someone messes with your bike, they will not be able to start it. I recommend the SR-i500 alarm over the SR-c400, although once you add all the options, the alarm is something like $400. Enjoy the alarm and relax in knowing that it is protected.
