The all new SR-i600 is an ultra-compact two-way FM paging security system designed specifically for motorcycles. By utilizing High Frequency FM technology, the SR-i600 transceiver is capable of sending and receiving commands from up to 1/2 Mile away. The SR-i600 also utilizes a built in accelerometer that detects both impact and changes of angles with a high degree of accuracy. It allows the module to be placed in any position or mounting angle and requires no adjustments. For simple installation the SR-i600 offers optional factory style connector kits that simply plug into the motorcycle's factory wiring harness.

Ultra compact two-way FM security system with waterproof remote
Includes a handheld LCD transceiver that features both pager and remote functions
Transceiver constantly monitors and displays the current alarm status and confirms all commands with easy to understand icons and text
From up to 1/2 mile away, the two way remote allows the user to control all of the alarm functions as well as receive detailed information on the motorcycle's status
Two-axis digital accelerometer detects both impacts and inclination, module can be placed in any position or mounting angle and requires no adjustments
Includes a built-in 120dB programmable multi tone siren with soft chirp arm/disarm feature

Other standard features include: audible/vibrating alert, smart-battery safeguard, sensor violation display, range and signal status display, clock with alarm, motorcycle battery conditions display, rolling codes, ignition sensor, flashing light with memory, key lock and remote motorcycle finder.

Pros: - INSTALLATION. My dealer quoted me the price of the alarm + 300 USD for installation on my new bike. I installed it myself, in a parking lot. Get the correct wiring harness for your bike and you'll need very few tools for the job. - FEATURES. I don't have the anti hijack, but even without that you have protection against shock, tilt, ignition and proximity (optional perimiter sensor). the system even powersaves if left alone for a month. Great!

Cons: - RANGE. The communication between the pager device and the alarm unit is a little flakey. Arrange the antenna well and you may get a few more feet of communication distance. - FITMENT. Although installation was easy, the box is a difficult shape for my R1 tail unit. No more space for the OEM tools. It'll be interesting when I come to fit a Power Commander there as well...

Worth it, worth it, worth it (if you don't pay someone else for installation).

Pros: i feel secure when i go to the mall.. sensor sensitivity is great ..

Cons: read the manual well to understand how to set up the alarm menu to your liking.

Pros: This item is nice and it is very loud. It's fairly simple to install on any bike and the pager is a nice device so i know when something is happening even if i can't hear it.

Cons: The alarm beeps a lot when installing and programming the device. This made it complicated for me since i do have neighbors and didn't want anyone getting very mad.

Excellent Alarm For Those Who Care About Their Bikes!

Scorpio: I love you.

Pros: Scorpio has saved my bike 3 times. I'm not exaggerating, I'm not raving, I'm reporting the truth. Without my Scorpio alarm I would not have a bike right now. The options are wonderful, the resilience to weather and real riding conditions is unmatched. I can't say enough good things about Scorpio.

Cons: The battery in the remote wears down extremely quickly.

Comments: If you own a bike you should own a Scorpio alarm.
