Pros: I have been a loyal Shoei helmet owner in the past and my husband had an Arai. Both of us have agreed that the Scorpion helmet is superior. We both like the venting on the Scorpion and it seemed allow more room to see things out of the corner of your eye. My husband said that the Scorpion doesn't give him the headache that the Arai did. I also like that the helmet liner can be removed and washed. A big plus if you ride in the South during the summer months. Another feature my husband enjoys is that the visor in the Scorpion is easier to change.
The Scorpion EX series is both SNELL and Dot approved. They are cheaper then the Arai and Shoei helmets we had and they are more comfortable.
Cons: I really can't think of any cons at this time. I've enjoyed my Scorpion EX 900 helmet for four months and my husband just got his a couple of weeks ago.
