 Solid Helm

By Franklin from Richmond hill, GA on 09/21/2008

Pros: Great airflow, Face shield acts as per specs, and shield replacement is quick and easy.

Cons: Noise is decent but with an aeroskirt which can be bought later helps cut it down. Thats all i can say.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Additional Sizing Notes: Fits nice and snug in a good way. The padding may seem a bit pressuring but give it some time to break in and it'll be perfect.

Great helmet for the price it compares to the 300-400 dollar helmets!

Great looking helmet with amazing ventilation

By Anonymous from Anytown, USA on 08/14/2008

Pros: Amazing look. I was trying to find a matte black helmet with an amazing fit, protection and pricing and this helmet excelled in all categories. The Scorpion helmet does catch my ears, but so do the shoei helmets. It's actually better in Scorpion's though and for the price, you simply can't beat it. The visor is awesome compared to my old helmet and no amount of breathing could fog it up. I'm sure in time this will pass, but for now.. amazing stock visor

Cons: I rode with an icon alliance, a lower end icon helmet and was never bothered by the noise in the helmet and never needed earplugs though I know it's recommended. The Scorpion Exo-700 definitely needs to be ridden with earplugs as its such a noisy helmet. High pitched wind noise in a relaxed upright position on a full fairing bike, and booming low frequency noise when in full tuck hurt like hell after a half hour ride and I even thought about stopping at a 24 hour Walmart to pick some plugs at 3 am the first time I rode with it.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Comments: Ride with earplugs (recommended for any type of riding anyway) and you'll have no problems with this helmet. The KwikWik really does work and the ventilation kept my head nice and cool. If you... (Read the rest of this review)

 Great look and Ligthweight

By Zorropitekus from Costa Rica on 05/31/2008

Pros: I had a Bell helmet, and my review is based on that helmet,... Ligther, the vents works just fine, great mate finish and looks amaizing. The liner it really works and it feel very confortable. Very easy to remove the faceshield, toolless (10 seconds aprox.) Prety much satisficed with this purchase.

Cons: The defog thing works better than my Bell but no that much, as far you keep the faceshield clean,

Sizing Info: Fits 1 size smaller

Additional Sizing Notes: be carefull with the sizing, when i first buy a helmet (Bell) I used the sizing chart and it helps, I knew the sizing on the scorpion was different, ( smaller). So be sure about your correct size to avoid the hassle to return a item.

Comments: Great helmet but be sure about the sizing

 Great helmet for the price

By Jonathan from Santa Barbara, CA on 05/03/2007

Pros: Comfortable helmet, nice and quiet. It vents well and the anti-fog shield works very well. I have only changed lenses once, and it was pretty easy. I didn't get the '10 second' change, but it was still under 30. It has a snap for the end of the chin strap to keep it from flapping around which is nice. Removable/washable liner is nice also. All the features you would get from Arai or Shoei but less than half the price.

Cons: Nothing bad about it. Not as light as other high end helmets, but for how much you have to spend to shave a few ounces, I'd rather have this helmet.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Additional Sizing Notes: Feels a little smaller than other 'small' sized helmets, but no hotspots or anything.

Comments: Overall a great helmet. I have it in the matte black and think it looks pretty awesome in addition to being comfortable and affordable. Having Snell in addition to DOT is nice as well, just in case...
