Pros: Fierce looking design and styling. Sturdy ballistic nylon and mesh. Seams appear to be solid. Zippers and snaps work well. Gives a more lady-like fit than some jackets. I have not worn it with the wind-proof liner in it yet.
Cons: I wish the sleeves were 1-2 inches longer; not a deal-breaker with this jacket.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: I would like the sleeves to be a about 1-2 inches longer; not really a problem though as this is a warm weather jacket.
Unfortunately, I can already attest to the strength of the ballistic nylon and the protection the built-in armor offers. I laid my bike down last week (lost control in a hard brake situation) and skidded on asphalt on my palms (I wear leather gloves too), elbows and knees. I have scrapes and bruises on my knees (I guess I need to order the matching Scorpion Nip Tuck Pants), but only a small friction scrape and bruise on my left elbow - where my bare elbow met the mesh liner and armor inside the jacket. The ballistic nylon fabric is slightly melted on the left elbow just below the quilted pad, otherwise the jacket is OK. I am an experienced sewer so I will mend the melted nylon area by sewing a black suede leather patch over it to reinforce the small patch of now thinner, somewhat melted nylon. I'm really glad I wear gear when I ride, as I would have been more seriously injured had I not. I highly recommend that motorcycle riders wear gear as you never know what the road will bring you. Ride Safe!!
