Shark RSI Full Face Helmet - Fusion Black

Pros: When I received the box I thought it was empty, the helmet is that light. The breath guard is great. The noise level is good. The lining is plush and removable.

Cons: The upper vent whistles a little bit at high speeds if your head is in certain positions.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Additional Sizing Notes: I was worried about the sizing, most websites state it is smaller than advertised. I was unable to find a store that had Shark helmets in stock so I had to measure my head and pray that the sizing guide was accurate. I ordered a medium as the guide suggested and it fit great. I wanted a snug but not tight helmet so it would not move around at high speeds. The guide was accurate.

Pros: Lining is very comfortable and soft. Airflow is above average although I haven't used it in hot weather yet. Shield removal system is the best on the market. Anyone who says otherwise hasn't tried this one yet. Ability to remove liner and wash it is great.

Cons: Noise level is not outstanding but better than my Arai Signet. Fit is somewhat different in that the helmet is short from top to bottom. It doesn't come down as far over my ears and back of my head as most others which contributes to the noise level. Anti-fog shield doesn't work at temps below 50 degrees, but neither do most others.

Additional Sizing Notes: Shape is best for those with "long oval" head shape. Comparable fits would be Arai Profile, Shoei X-11.

Comments: Overall I rate this product highly. I like the fact that it is DOT/ECE cetified and not Snell certified as that means the helmet absorbs more of an impact than a Snell lid would.

Pros: The air flow is amazing. Once open it allows huge amount of air to flow cooling you down, and has no problems de-fogging the faceshield. It is a lighter helmet than many others, and fit me just perfect. The quick straps help speed up the process of putting the helmet on and taking it off even if you are already wearing your gloves.

Cons: Still allows a bit of wind noise through, even with the vents shut. Not loud but noticable.

Comments: For my second helmet, it is definatly an improvement from my last. It's around half the weight, twice as comfortable, and a little less in price. I would recommend this helmet as a step up for all... (Read the rest of this review)
