 Best leathers under a grand

By Diego Martinez from San Diego on 07/12/2008

Pros: -Great suit for the money -Did i mention great suit for the money -Sizing is spot on. -Very good quality leather. -Next to no break in time.

Cons: -No aero hump. -Minimal perforations.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Additional Sizing Notes: Fits true to sizing and as far as the larger sizes fit an athletic body type very well.

A great suit for the money. I paid 320 from a local dealership and I couldn't be happier. The fit is very similar to Alpinestar leathers, Just try it on before you buy, the sizing seems to depend on the manufaacturer. I have an athletic body type and it fits perfect, it should also fit nicely if you have few extra pounds, emphasis on a few pounds. The stretch panels are all located perfectly and it has a very comfortable collar as well. The only downsides are no aero hump and a minimum of perforations. But if you're an old skool person, no aero hump will be a plus, I only mention it because i race on a budget and every little bit helps. All in all, a very nice suit and if your local dealership has a few of these laying around, they can be had for 1/2 price or better. Now I just need to find out if perforations weaken the leather and the location of the nearest leather shop :p.
