I went straight to a premium helmet for my first helmet purchase. 2 years from now i didnt want 3 different helmets sitting round my garage before i finally caved in and spent some real money on a quality lid. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on a top of the line helmet. Mind you this helmet fits a particular head shape, so if you have a "shoei" head, more oval, dont look elsewhere. Its light, flows a lot of air with minimal noise, and finish is top of the line. I wont be borrowing my buddies helmets anymore.

Pros: GREAT FITTING...shoei goes beyond to make sure their helmets fit even the most oddly shaped heads. The ventilation is excellent...u can even feel the air cooling your head at low speeds. Super light weight, and really keeps ur head steady at high speeds, thanks to the rear dorsal.
Cons: i dont find the defogger to be the best feature on it. But thats so minor compared to the overall GREATNESS of this helmet.

Additional Sizing Notes: when u first get it...cheek pads might seem a little bit tight...they will be a perfect fit once u break in the helmet. If not you can just replace them the pads w / thinner ones
