Pros: This is a pretty light helmet. The vents work very well. The removable breath guard and chin curtain are nice features. It is a lot easier to do a shoulder check with this helmet than with my old TZ-1 or my Icon lid. And like all Shoeis, the visor change mechanism is as easy as they come.
The finish on this model is definitely more matte than metallic and it looks better IRL than in the photos.
Cons: The only complaint is about the cheek pad sizes and that it's not as quiet as I had hoped. It's every bit as loud as the 5 year old TZ-1 that i just retired.

Additional Sizing Notes: Only complaint about the sizing is with the replacement cheek pads. Arai makes replacement pads for their helmets in 5mm increments. Shoei does it in 2mm increments. The problem with this is the majority of the pads are bigger than the stock ones. The lid fits my head great but the stock pads are too big for my cheeks and I can only go 4mm smaller. More range would definitely be helpful.
