Average Customer Rating:   4.5 out of 5 (based on 3 ratings)

One of the most technologically advanced helmets for street riders and clearly one of the best-looking helmets on the market.

Shoei’s innovation and cutting-edge design makes the RF-1000 a premium sports helmet.

Aerodynamically superior, the RF-1000 full-face sport helmet delivers wind tunnel proven high speed performance and ventilation. A perfect fit is achieved through removable and adjustable cheek pads and 3D comfort liner system which doesn’t shift during high speed riding.

Another facet of the legendary Shoei fit is the use of 4 shell sizes, and 5 sizes of EPS liners. The RF-1000 shell is of Shoei’s proprietary AIM + (Advanced Integrated Matrix Plus Multi-fiber Technology), which embeds ultra strong organic fibers into fiberglass. The result is a lightweight, yet strong, outer shell that is better able to absorb and disperse the force of an impact.

The RF-1000 Protection, at its technological best.

Pros: The artwork is great, the fit is great, and the noise reduction is very good. Of course I only had one other helmet to compare this to, as I have only been riding for 4 months now. :-)

Cons: My only negative comment is that it fogs up a bit when you turn your head to the side. But I'm sure most helmets are like that, since most helmets don't have air vents on the sides.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Pros: I love the Helmet. Limits noise into the helmet. I've had two helmets before this one and this is by far my favorite.

Cons: The shield fogs a little when you turn your head. minor set back

 Great Helmet

By Dereck from Redondo Beach, CA

Pros: great looking graffix, sthe quality I expected from a name like Shoei

Cons: Helmet was a little heavier than some of the alternative brands, but barely noticable

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Additional Sizing Notes: Cheek pads were a little stiff/thick, but they softened up quite a bit after a little bit of break in time
