Another facet of the legendary Shoei fit is the use of 4 shell sizes, and 5 sizes of EPS liners. Pros: I think the ventilation is great. I have no fogging problems unless I forget to open the shield vent using the lever on the side, and that's only at very slow speeds or a stop.
Cons: Still trying to remember where the visor lift is.
Sizing Info: Fits 1 size larger
Additional Sizing Notes: Why is it that stores don't ever have the size inside the store? They always have some off the wall size. Who's ordering those? xxxx small, xxxx large. Those should be the ones they have to order, not a simple large.
This helmet is worth the $350 I paid for it. I would buy another one. Shark may make a more breathable helmet, but I doubt you could tell the difference. Everyone comments on the looks of my helmet also. It doesn't have skulls on it, but it has some interesting designs which are just as cool and not so morbid.

HORRIBLE TERRIBLE AWFULL

Pros: Looks and fits great.
Cons: This helmet is utterly useless due to the fact that the RF 1000 has poor shield ventilation. It fogs up at every possible condition regardless of the vents being open and breath guard in place.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Comments: I contacted Shoei to see if I was missing something and they recommended the pinlock system.... I never had this problem with Suomy R1 and at close to $500 this helmet should have decent venting.... (Read the rest of this review)
