Pros: Is there even another set out there that covers the '07-'09 CBR600RR's without cutting into the plastic? An inexpensive investment for the protection you get. Very easy to install, and bike still looks great. The sliders do exactly what they're supposed to do (trust me). Almost too well: They controlled a slow-speed slide...right into a curb down the street.
Cons: Now I've installed this set on an '07 and an '08. Both times I've ended up with a little extra vibration felt through the handlebars when riding (not as much the second time). Probably my fault, but it's something to think about while you're putting them on. Obviously didn't stop me from getting them again.
Needed equip: High-temp Loc-Tite, hex keys, and a TORQUE WRENCH. You'll want to tighten everything to spec. Hopefully that will minimize the vibration. That's probably obvious to everyone else...
