I went down at nearly 60mph and they kept the frame from being damaged. That's all they are designed to do and they did it well. It just depends on the wreck. "Cut" sliders could not have done a better job during my most recent wreck. I am ordering another set to replace mine.

Look Great but are useless in crashes

Pros: ease of install - looks good
Cons: these give you a false sense of protection -2 trackday crashes - #1 came in too hot and ran across grass - fell down in grass on left side at about 20mph and the frame slider caused more damage than anything else - bracket bent back against fairings - 2nd crash was low side on left side and frame slider bent in again!!! USELESS - Just cut your fairing if you really want protection!

Pros: I recently installed these frame sliders on my 2006 Yamaha R6. The fit is perfect and they took about 15-20 mins to install. Top Quality!!!!!!!!!!

Pros: They are good quality at a reasonable price.
Comments: These will help one save thousands if the bike does go down for any reason and a relatively low speed. Some times it happens and it is good to be prepared. With these it should minimize the damage.... (Read the rest of this review)
