Pros: Gore-Tex a Big Improvement over their European material they used last year. Boots are warm and comfortable and keep feet/socks very dry in a down pouring rain. The inside "ankle protector" is an improvement from last years model. GREAT BOOT for Winter and Wet Riding!
Cons: Although it's not a "BAD Thing" the 4 velco Strap closure system is time consuming... so these are NOT the boots to be wearing if you need to get nekkedwith a hot babe that "wants it now!" or you need to ride fast when her ole` man is walking through the front door! ;-)
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: When purchasing meteric.. boots fit great with thin socks... if you wear a little thicker boot sock... be aware they'll be tight in the width.
Although these boots are expensive than most cruiser boots (maybe with the expeception of some H-D brand names), they're a great product. This is my second pair... my first went through me totaling my bike (lady pullled out across 4 lanes of traffic and in front of me)... protecting my feet like nobody's business! When my Insurance company allowed me to replace them... I jumpted on the opportunity to buy the new Gore-Tex model, with the new improvements. Superior Product... for riding in any weather and I can't say enough about the foot protection they offer. We can all belly-ache about pricing... until that time when you see all those photo images of the kids on crotch rockets who've lost their foot gear in an accident.... and of course... you're walking away from your "just this side of death" accident... becuase you provided yourself the BEST GEAR for the Road. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product for those hard Core year round riders regardless of the weather, the road or traffic conditions.
