Sidi Scorpion Air Boots
Average Customer Rating: 4.0 out of 5 (based on 7 ratings)
It takes Sidi to do a niche boot correctly. At the 2004 Indy show Sidi's chief designers were walking around and were appalled by the engineering, or lack there of, in all other low cut street boots offered to the market.
The Scorpion boot is Sidi's answer to how to cover the market correctly. Low cut like the rider's want, low weight and protective like the riders need, these are the best descriptions you could give the Scorpion.
The Scorpion features a sport boot heel cup and sole coupled with Sidi's exclusive "Kent Vent" ventilation system and all Lorica construction to achieve its design parameters.
2 Wheel Tuner magazine: "The Scorpion has set a new standard for freestyle riding protection."
Super Streetbike magazine: "The extra light Scorpions weigh about half as much as a single (Icon) Motorhead For straight up riding we'll take the Sidi's"

Great boots for in-town riding |
By Mike from Billings, MT on 03/19/2008
Pros: Great boots that you can wear around when not on the bike. They are very lightweight provide decent protection for the style. Perfect for quick in-town rides and to work without having to necessarily change shoes. Excellent feel on the pegs and very well vented.
Cons: A bit pricey and would be nice if they had toe sliders.
Sizing Info: Fits 1 size larger
Additional Sizing Notes: These have a normal to slim toe box compared to other boots I've tried. With boots sock these fit great. They are very light and feel more or less like high tops.
I wouldn't recommend these for the highway as they don't offer much coverage.
